In an article about the new 3G Tr-Band Datacard published by Znet (and featured here a few days ago), they report that Vodafone claim thier network "has so far achieved 60 percent coverage by population for 3G services in the UK."

Pretty fast from just about 50% when they lauched 5 months ago.

Coverage does indeed seem to be improving. I can now pick up Vodafone 3G signal in my house even though none of my local transmitters have Voda UMTS according to sitefinder! Sometimes I get Voda 3G on a network scan, sometimes not... but I don't think that'll put me off getting the 6680 on them if I crumble under the pressure :D

Mine is very much improving. I didnt have coverage at my house when I first got mine in November at launch and now I get 2 bars of 3G in my living room and when I am in my office upstairs I get full bars. Also areas seem to be improving all over. However I have noticed that Orange are getting stonger too
