3D high-end games on 3

Stockholm and London - 23 March 2005

Synergenix Interactive AB, a leading mobile games publisher, will offer customers on 3, the UK's first video mobile network, compelling high-end 3D games utilising Synergenix' middleware mophunTM.

Through the partnership with Synergenix, 3 will provide a growing supply of high-end 3D games using mophunTM to their 2.5 million customers. Initially, these games are available on 3 video mobiles running on Symbian. 3 and Synergenix will also release a portfolio of real-time multiplayer games and will work with leading mobile games publishers to widen 3's games portfolio.

"3 is a true innovator and the combination of mophunTM 3D games and multiplayer is a real differentiator which shows the full potential of 3's video mobile network and advanced handsets. We believe this agreement with 3 builds on Synergenix' leading position in the mobile gaming industry", says Martin Forsling, CEO Synergenix Interactive. "By co-operating with world-leading publishers Synergenix aims to establish mophunTM as the leading mobile games middleware."

Graeme Oxby, Marketing Director, 3: "As the success of our music service demonstrates with over 10 million downloads in 6 months, 3 has learnt how to package and deliver compelling products over 3G. In Gaming, we are doing the same thing – picking the right games for 3G and delivering services that are immediate, fun and accessible at affordable prices."

MophunTM has been created to harness the hardware resources of a mobile phone and to bring out the best gaming experiences possible on any given handset. The mophunTM middleware enables true cross platform game development and considerably shorten game development cycles, gaining a faster time to market.

In addition to the mophunTM games "Lock n' Load" and "Rally Pro Contest", 3 will also launch Synergenix' portfolio of Java games including "Conflict: Vietnam" and the upcoming "Carmageddon" and "Guinness World Records."
