Just had a look at 3's new price list and outwith off-peak hours (7AM - 7PM Mon - Fri) 3 will charge 30p/min for calls to ALL networks including their own.

A great deal if you only use your phone off-peak but the 30p/min charge will soon add up if you use it outwith. Maybe a good deal for shift workers?

The new 3 price guide is HERE (http://www.three.co.uk/BlobServer.srv?blobdir=ImportantDoc&blobfile=05051+price+guide1april05_ds.pdf)

Yeah, it's not too bad, but you'd definitely want to make sure you're just going to be using your handset during off peak hours. That priceguide is damn handy as a link.

Wow, its dear, and looking at the new O2 price plans for sim only with 30 day contract 800 mins with 2000 text and free voice mail at £45 pounds is maybe better vaule than Talk and Text 750 with a useless phone !

Maybe a way round it is to have two mobiles? T-Mobile 3000 day time at £20 pounds permonth and Three off peak contract, 6000 mins for about £45 pounds? but thats taking both handsets and on two networks.

A good way to compare networks too!

Quite workable if you have a good 3 service at home though as you would normally make calls from a landline and that looks quite expensive now especially X/net to mobiles.
