From Cellular News (01/11/05):

Samsung has launched two new 3G phones with Vodafone Germany. The two clamshell phones are lightweight at only 110 and 105 grams respectively, and they incorporate a comprehensive range of first-rate features at attractive prices.

Both triband models offer excellent value for money and incorporate the features of lithium ion battery, IrDa, USB and bluetooth interfaces and e-mail client, integrated digital camera and integrated MP3 player as standard.

Samsung ZV30

The Samsung ZV30 is a genuine multimedia mobile phone. It has a display with a resolution of 176x220 pixels and 262,144 TFT colours, which ensures that Vodafone Mobile TV is not just shown on a matt screen, but on a brilliant mini screen. The integrated CMOS digicam delivers images with a resolution of 1,280 x 960 pixels. The camera lens can also be swivelled for videotelephony applications.

The 40 MB internal memory and up to 256 MB of optional external memory (Trans-Flash cards) can store large volumes of data.

Samsung ZV10

The new ZV10 is only 9.1 x 4.8 x 2.6 cm in size. Weighing in at only 105 grams, it is one of the lightest UMTS phones on the market. It also has a very attractive design with a classic shape and a black and silver look that makes it an eye-catching clamshell phone.

It transfers an image of the person at the other end of the line or provides an impression of the caller's surroundings. The Samsung ZV10 transmits images via live streaming in first-rate quality to any videotelephony-capable receiving phone. It is a tri-band phone, which means it can be used in many countries for making calls, sending MMS messages or e-mails. And it has an internal 50 MB dynamic memory.
