Any one know where I can get the above model unlocked? it's locked to Vodafone and I've tried loads of places but no one seems to be able to unlock it. Thanks

You could try calling Vodafone themselves... they're known to be quite reasonable when it comes to unlock codes.

Unfortunately they couldn't help me. They said that as I didn't have a vodafone sim card, there was nothing they could do to help.

O_o bizzare! Did the handset not come with a SIM when you won it?

Hmm. Hands0n might know if this handset can be unlocked remotely/at all... otherwise we'll have to devise a way to get a code out of the Voda folks :(

This mob ( http://www.m-99.co.uk/Mobile_Phone_Unlocking/Toshiba/toshiba.html )claim to be able to unlock Vodafone [only] Tosh 921 using IMEI calculated code for £15.95. I cannot vouch for them though, so be sure before parting with any money.

I cannot unlock Toshiba myself but there is a kit that will do it, so you'd need to find an Unlocker who had that particular kit. Probably the easiest is to use a firm like the above.
