Smart-phone specialist HTC will ship devices that support the High Speed Data Packet Access (HSDPA) 3G data-speed booster in H2 2006, the company confirmed today.

Don't you just know it! HTC will be right in there with all the network-branded gismo's that the likes of Orange Signature and O2 XDA love. It wouldn't surprise me if HTC provide the launch devices for 'consumer' HSDPA rollout. As far as bandwagons go, HTC make an excellent job of climbing on early.

Hell, I guess we should give HTC their own section one day in recognition for the sheer balls they have :p
