The ZTE F866 is now just £39.99 and the MOS-1 has been reduced to £49.99 when bought with a £30 top-up from 3's on-line store.

Far more realistic prices than before and I expect there will be much boader distribution of these at this price point in preparation for the launch of 'WePay' on 1st February.

Good stuff. I think £39.99 (even with a £30 topup) is a rather magical prepay pricepoint. I'm sure at these prices sales will be greatly stimulated.

Yep £69.99 is a good price point and a brand new 3G clamshell should be popular with younger buyers especially.

It'll be interesting to hear how folks get on with the ZTE as I dont think I have yet seen any feedback about it despite it having been on 3's website since December.

Both the ZTE & the MOS-1 have their work cut out for them as there is substantial competition around from the likes of Motorola V545 (£60 on Orange ) and Virgin's exclusive Emblaze range (£60). Both can provide a 1MP camperphone at around the same price nowadays. The Link also have the SE V600i at £79.99 so plenty of choice around!!
