sorry about all this but I have now got my z500 recognized by
my pc (at last !) - but I am having trouble downloading pictures - they are jpg - should they be something else..???
I am sorry but I am 100% new to this phone, the software and the downloading of anything to a mobile !!

also should the video I download be something other than AVI ?
as I have downloaded a few but they are in a folder that doesnt have a play facility...the video folder wouldnt accept them....

The video question - the standard for mobile video is .3gp, so I'd imagine that's the format you'd need to use for it to work.
