without a transflash memory card how much can actually you download & hold on the phone ?
and how much can you hold with a 256mb card and the same question applies to a 512mb card ..??

sorry for all the questions but its a new thing to me and I would like to know as much as possible.

It all rather depends on the size of the music (mp3) files, and these will vary depending on what compression speed has been used. The lower the compression the smaller the file, but the more inferior the sound quality. I think most folk encode to 128kbps which gives near-CD sound. So, look at a typical sound file that you want to store and divide that into the available memory on the phone which you should be able to find out from one of the Z500's menus (phone status?).

Same principle of calculating capacity into memory cards i.e. 512 / = number of files could be stored.
