Hi

Im sure the uses of Virgin will of recivied the Text message to ring 4238 about some chances to their call costs. For those that did not heres a summary:

Calls to 07 Pager and Personal numbers will increase by 50p
Calls to 08 numbers will increase from 10p to 15p
Calls to 09 numbers well if you call 0901326/01656 they increase by 50p if you call 0911449 they cost 30p

All other charges remain the same. Oh the good news Virgin states that no one will pay anymore than £2.50pp for calling a 09 number lol

Does anyone know if these call charges fall in line with T-Mob? Would be interested if it's a cost addition due to an increased T-Mob charge, if it matches what their customers pay, or if it's just Virgin making some more wonga?

It won't be a good day for Virgin if they are increasing their charges above what anyone would pay with T-Mob or even another network. The Virgin brand is strong, but surely not *that* strong!!

I agree, Im not sure what price charges has to do with T-Mobile? i would of thought with a 10 year contract that these were fixed?

Im also concered that Virgin has decided to increase the 08 rate from 10p to 15 as I understand offcom are currently looking at the prices charged for 0845/0870 numbers etc.

Glad to say i dont dial 08 numbers unliss I have to but I P''' of with my family going to be charged 50p to dial an 0706 pager number which costs 4.5/7.5 ppm on BT/NTL.

Sorry solo12002, I cannot even bring myself to "try" to understand Orange's price plans on that link! They have lost the plot completely, unless its me not being very Gallic!
