Nokia's online store could well become the 'place to buy' genuine Nokia handsets and accessories without network locks or branding. Currently the range is rather limited, which is a shame as they could really abuse this outlet to take the cream of the early-adopters wallets, but it's a sight to be seen.

Yeah this seems to be a good idea. In the future more people might buy sim free if the networks continue to manipulate handsets for their own purpose, and higher demand could potentially reduce the hadnset price.

I like the prices, the Nokia N70 is not that to far away from some of the prices on E Bay.

I've been finding that the Nokia link you put up Ben doesn't direct you to anywhere particular, just the Nokia main site, where you then need to find the shop links yourself... This one seems to work OK though! ;) http://shop.nokia.co.uk/
