I read on the Orange website that new 3G customers get 1000MB of data allowance for the 1st 3 months to try 3G services. They also state you get videocalls too for 3 months.

Are both of these offers still available?

pay monthly

try 3G for free

Buy an Orange 3G phone and we'll give you 3 months to try all our 3G related services free, including:

30 minutes free video calling per month included for the first three months (or 60 minutes per month for 12 months on Your Plan 400 and above)
Try 1000MB of data per month for the first three months.

Is Orange World still chargable.... even for menus and basic information on 3G? I know it used to cost £4 a month when last i was with them but I would have thought they would have gone down the Vodafone Live! or 02 Active route and made the service a showcase for their chargeable services.

Any info - much apprecisted.

I took out an orange contract about 2 months ago and I am currently getting 1000MB data allowance and the free videocalls promo.
I think mine will finish at the end of this month.
They didn't tell me about it though, so I didn't take advantage of it til I saw it on my first bill.
I don't know if Orange World is chargable, I presume I will find out when the 3 months are up.

AFAIK all data is still charged at standard rates on Orange, including browsing Orange World. The only exception being services that specifically state they include data, like Orange TV.

I got the first 3 months 1000mb FOC, then they added 4mb, which luckily was explained to me when i tried purchasing a data pack when I first got the phone (I didn't even know about the 1000mgeg FOC thing)
