I had a call at 18.10 tonight, from a member of staff in Three's Scottish call centre, advising that with just two months to go until my contract ended, I was eligible for an upgrade...

"I think I will wait and see what other offers are available, obviously, off the top of my head, T-Mobile's "Flext" is an attractive option..." I said...

(Now at this point, I was expecting the guy to say that they could match "Flext"...)

However, the response I received was :

"OK, thanks for your time", and then the guy hung up....

Three not looking to retain customers anymore ? There was absolutely no effort to retain my custom at all...

I would not have thought that company policy. But it could just have been a CS rep in Retentions at the end of a very long day listening to the Flext reason for the umpteenth time. That was exactly why I moved away from 3 at the beginning of 2006.

Although I am somewhat surprised that they did not at least offer you 3's version of Flext which they are allegedly doing of late, for Retentions only at the mo.
