After the success of launching Sharp handsets in the UK, Vodafone is turning its attention to Toshiba, another unknown quantity in the European mobile phone market. The Japanese firm is introducing its first ever UK handset, the TS921, exclusive to Vodafone 3G later in the year. This clamshell flaunts a 180° swivel, 2.4-inch-display that transforms the phone into a digital camera profile. You can take snaps with the 1.9-megapixel camera and use the unprecedented 20x digital zoom for close ups.
20x digital zoom... because that wont be entirely unusable/pointless! Get some real zoom on these things, people ;)
Good news though, really - yet another handset manufacturer competing in the UK can only bring more advanced features and/or better choice and/or lower prices.
