Hi Everybody.
I came across your site whilst searching for an answer to an annoying feature of my K800i.
Well, I had a call from 3 yesterday asking if I wanted an upgrade. I was talked into getting the K800i by my son who raved on about it at the weekend. Handset arrived today and I set to work this evening setting it up. As phones go, this is one is OK but the annoying feature is the scrolling info bar at the bottom of the screen. I have searched every where to try and turn it off. Even when I have my favourite screensaver on it scrolls over the top. The bar seems to be full of adverts for the 3 network.
Can this be turned off...Its so anoying I may just have to return the phone
