I cant use my infrared. I dont know why but when one of my friends try to send me something it doesnt work.
Can somone please help me.

Hiya Chris,

Are you getting any infra red confirmation of activation on your screen, a little icon perhaps? Has it worked previously? Does a hard reset of the handset resolve anything? :)

it just says connecting but it doesnt recieve anything
and i cant send anything either.

I don't think I've seen an U8120 work on infra-red ever! Not sure if it actually does anything, although its in the system. I wonder if 3 took it out during the branding process.

One of my friends has used it before. I dont know why it doesnt work on mine

Wow! I've seen dozens not work :( Got four here, on none of them does the IR work :( grrrrrrrrrr.

if it doesnt work the why do they build IR into it then.
