Ribbon Cable Snapped!

hi
does anyone know where i can get my lg u400 fixed?the ribbon cable has snapped and i cant find anywhere that has the parts. a bus pass wen up the slide of the phone and the ribbon has snapped, veyr fragile and easily happens!
please help, i have only had this phone for a month and therefore i am guttered!

Hello nat3310 - Welcome to Talk3G.

I know it is going to cost you but I'd have thought that you could get a "paid for" repair done by 3's own handset repairers. It won't be cheap - I'd guess at around £100.

Alternatively, you could try an independent :- http://www.mobilephonerepairs.co.uk/mobile_phone_repair.asp?repair=all&manufacturer=LG&phone=U400&name=all&title=network&network=Three (I'm assuming you are on 3, but you can check with this firm against other network operators too). I cannot vouch for them, but it would be useful for you to have a word with them.
