It's about bloomin' time.

The N73 is a fantastic handset and I defy anyone who says otherwise. It has had a good ride in the Mobile tracker, hell it has been in there for quite a while now, but finally it has gone to the No.1 spot (probably due to some crazy Three deals, but there we go). Linky (http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/products/tracker.asp?i=105&page=)

In the latest mag, however, it has dropped back to third after stiff competition from the LG Shine and Sammy D900.

In other news the W880i is a big fat flop (http://www.mobiletoday.co.uk/products/phone.asp?t=r&man=14&i=326). Whoops. Personally I don't think it deserves a thumbs down, it is what it is, but it's a clear sign that Sony Ericsson need to keep a razor sharp focus on their Walkman line of phones if they're to continue fighting their way up the market share stakes.

Stupid P4U, what do they know! ;)

I defy anyone not to lose this phone, I mean, not to be dumbfounded at just how small, slim and light this handset is. It's the only reason I bought it, I've been waiting for a 3G handset the size of this for ages. In this case size does matter, and smaller is better, well, that's what I've been telling the wife anyway.

They're right, there's plenty more handsets with plenty more features, all of which make greater use of the UMTS networks that the operators want us to start using, however, Joe Public wants small and good looking... I don't think they care what it can and can't do over HSDPA or WiFi, those features are really for us die-hards / business users.
