i was wondering if the k800i+headphones can be used as a bluetooth headphone/headset accessory for the ps3.

i did a search for the k800i with bluetooth enabled and visible but is unable to find it. 10 minutes or so searching.

i was curious if the k800i offered as a bluetooth service.

this would be great so i do not have to purchase a separate bluetooth headphone for my ps3.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

I've not heard of mobile phones themselves being used as a bluetooth accessory to something else for sound capture/audio playback - so while I can't say for sure I think it's unlikely.

A cheap bluetooth headset would be a good way forward - especially if you can use it on your phone also.

i do already have a bt headset but only for 1 ear with mic

i was hoping for a stereo headset with mic, i can use it for the ps3 watching movies or online game with mic or for phone calls/mp3 playback on my phone

that would have been great if the phone's bt service included being a bt wireless headphone for other devices like the ps3
