Please someone remove this post if I get an answer.

I currently use 3G data to work out of the office. But can anyone with VPN knowledge help me set up a VPN at m work place server?

just read through that and I am still lost. Tried everything and still does not work. The link was excellent and I have already done all that.

Would anyone be interested in lending me their skills to set it up.

there is a virtual drink in it for someone

Jon,

I use a Cisco VPN... I've found this one, (a Cisco IPSsec VPN) which seems to have an easy setup with instructions, download a program, put the settings in and off you go... well, from what I can see anyway.

Have a look and let me know if it's any use?

You can find it here. (http://www.noc.ucf.edu/VPN/win2k_ipsec.htm) :D

At the bottom of this page, (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/index.html) you'll find a couple of VPN clients, an easy set up and the one I mentioned previously.

To download the SW you need to be registered on the Cisco website, there's a link on that page to do so. I'm not sure if there'll be a charge for the SW though, you'll have to find that out for yourself!

Otherwise, this link (http://compnetworking.about.com/z/js/o.htm?k=ipsec%20vpn%20client&d=IPSec%20VPN%20Client) takes you to a page with sponsored links for various IPSec VPN setups/SW.

Go fill yer boots.
