Here's an interesting site some of you may wish to check out.

www.Mobestar.com (http://www.mobestar.com) is a developer of 3G mobile community software and mobile video content.

Over-3G specific services to seem to be growing in number, as we'd all hope. I think it paints a pretty encouraging picture of the future of 3G comms.

try http://www.mobestar.com/index.php - there may well be certain javascript/dynamic requirements of the site that will require certain browser settings to work.

A late reply, but take note:

Mobestar Holdings PLC apparently drew sharp interest from the Internet Dating Community message Boards (idate):

Mobestar Gorup PLC may Shut Down (http://mb.idate2008.com/mobestar-auditors-suggest-company-may-shut-down-t2910.html)

Interest came from a report by the company's auditors on June 18 concerning their 'doubts' about Mobestar's (London Stock Exchange : MOBS) ability "to
continue as a going concern."

Oh for the love of God:

Mobestar posted a pretax loss of 2.17 million pounds for the year ending December 31, compared to a loss of 1.94 million in 2006. Revenue increased from 18,000 pounds in 2006 to 63,000 pounds in 2007.

Mobestar raised 550,000 pounds in April through the placing of 3.99 million shares.
Please can someone explain to Internet/mobile businesses that you do still have to make a profit? What's a company doing going public on revenue of just £63k anyway?

Edit: I have no idea why I posted about this company anyway. I suppose things looked better back in 2005? But they can't have looked too much better if they only took £18k in 2006! :o

Well. It looks like Mobestar PLC is no longer publicly traded company.
