If you've got an Orange 3G phone you should be well aware of 350 by now.

350 is a dedicated customer support number for Orange 3G users. There are no menu options to choose, just a direct connection (usually instant, sometimes with a few minutes on hold) to a 3G-aware group of customer service advisors.

Once you're connected to an advisor at 350, don't be afraid to ask for other departments if they can't help you. Handset Faults may be where you need to turn if your handset is playing up but 350 can't authorise a replacement.

A good place to start if you're having problems is your nearest Orange Shop. Putting your SIM in another handset, or putting someone elses SIM in your own, as a sure-fire way of isolating where the problem is.

If you have a serious problem but 350 can't issue you a replacement immediately it's usually because their computer system does not yet recognise your fault. What happens instead is a message gets sent to the Technical people (who you can't reach by phone) describing your problem with the promise of a callback. I'd actually recommend calling back the next day and asking for the status of the message to be checked.

If you're not getting anywhere with the offline Technical people, you need to ask to speak to a Supervisor. From experience I know that some supervisors are able to communicate with the offline Technical staff and find out what's going on. If you've already done your troubleshooting at the nearest Orange Shop, you should be good for a replacement right about now.

Remember, 350 are there to answer your questions too. If there's anything you need to know (but you're too far away from a PC to ask us!) then make use of having a dedicated helpline number - it's part of the package you're paying for!
