I previously corresponded [very successfully] with Three at "contact.centre@three.co.uk" but my latest has been met with the following auto-response. Does this mean that they've gone and shut down or moved it to Mumbai so we've no further UK contact - shame if it's true!! The only reason I tried eMail again is that the Mumbians are completely unable to help solve a fairly straightforward service call. :p

Orange/Vodafone/MMO2/T-Mobile beckon ever stronger by the day!!! How many months is it till Jan 2006? ;)

How strange! I guess they realised they had some kind of duplication going on here... I mean how many email addresses do they need!

Was contact.centre definitely a UK-run operation? Is customer.services definitely not UK run?

You've got more 3 handsets than Bob Fuller! I doubt he's actually ever used one... but that's besides the point... Anyways, I'll believe it when I see it ;) ;)

"Was contact.centre definitely a UK-run operation? Is customer.services definitely not UK run?"

I can't be sure but each time I used "contact.centre" I got a UK-based response. Perhaps they were just consolidating the addresses down to one. I got a UK response to "cutomer.services", a very helpful Scots girl (Glasgow I guess) who got my problem organised in <10 mins that Mumbai couldn't in the time before we got cut off each time! Three would really have just about zero complaints about CS if they took Mumbai away from us!

I am trying to wean myself off them y'know :) My daughter has one of the U8120s now that her E338 is in the hands of Three's repairers. I may have trouble getting it back from her, she really likes it. My money's on Mr Fuller with an Orange handset

Maybe they are "attempting" to be more efficient by having one universal contact address for all CS?

I know its a bit off topic here, but i rang Three CS the other day to cancel my contract and was routed to the "Cancelation Department"...not surprisingly i was in a que! When i eventually got through i was told they were experiencing high volumes of calls to this department!

ha ha!

I am, for one, thankful that my fears have not been realised - and that 3's UK CS is alive and well and, more importantly, still accesible to us. Even if it is only by the Contact Us form.

If Mumbai cannot complete a simple support call what possible reason is there for their existence? </RHETORICAL>

The costing to 3 are the reason, while 3 are still in growth and giving away their deals then the savings need to be made some were and that means India support in this case.
