Hi Guys
My friend has just got an LG cookie and is having problems making calls.
She can hear the other person but they cannot hear her.
I think it is something to do with the mute button on the touchscreen but cannot seem to disable it.:confused:

Any Ideas?

I don't know of any issues I'm afraid. How long ago since she got the phone?

Its only about a week so can go back to the virgin shop for exchange.
I might try a reset first.

Three people in my office have got them in the last week but thankfully this is the only problem.

Hmm yes a reset sounds like a good idea - but if it doesn't fix the problem I'd jump on getting it exchanged before too much time goes by!

Tried a reset took out memory card/battery,still no luck.
Admitted defeat as it must be the handset thats faulty.
Virgin shop are fine to exchange and think she is going for a Samsung G600 on same contract.
Not as advanced a phone but more user friendly for calls and texts.
Think the cookie is excellent value as long as it is reliable.
