I was just wondering if anybody has the jar/jad file for the Nokia 6288 or Nokia 6280, instead of downloading it from Planet 3..

Hi D_G - I'm not entirely sure if this will do the trick for you but have a look at this link (http://www.filestube.com/0038f6a99116a1c003e9,g/Messenger.html). You may have to do some little configuration work to get it to function with 3's messenger server. the .jar file is 240kb in size.

Thank you for replying to my thread. I seem to be having a problem, i succesfully downloaded the jad file, but the download link for the jar file is unavailable so therefore i wasn't able to download it. After attempting to analyse the jad file, the midlet jar url was listed as Messenger.jar, so because of this i can't even follow a link to get the jar file using another way. Is there any way the jar file can be re-uploaded?

I Googled for "messenger.jar" - apart from Windows files there are some for the likes of Yahoo etc ... so you have to be careful what you grab.
