So the 6680's been out a few weeks now, and no doubt many on this forum have either got one or used one. To me, the phone is ideal and seems to have everything i could want, except last night when i needed a stopwatch and realised the phone didnt have one!! (Obviously being on 3 i can't download one).

Does anyone else have an opinion on how this phone could be improved, or is there anything else it is missing? Or is it the 'perfect' phone?

You could download from the net and install one via the Nokia application install kit

Or has it been locked that much

I think the rear slide could be more 'sturdy'. I think auto email checking should not disable itself if, as a one off, it can't connect. I think there should be a longer backlight on time than 1 minute (a right pain when watching OTV!). Other than that, a faster processor and more internal memory would just about do the job! It's easily the best phone I've ever owned.

Ben, I agree the rear slide could be more sturdy.
The one thing I miss is the FM radio. I have read (somewhere maybe bbc news site, I'll try and find the link) that Samsung is releasing a phone with an integrated digital radio tuner.
When DAB coverage improves I would like to see a DAB tuner on phones released in the UK. Being on 3 I can't stream radio.

These are a couple of news articles that suggest the technology (DAB) can be integrated into a mobile phone.

I agree wit the Back. The slide is a bit dodgy and could break.
