I note o2 are bloddly slow to release the new roaming rates from 01 July given that vodafone did a month ago and that they apply from early next week.

O2Iireland have advised their users of their rates as

From 1st July roaming in the EU costs even less - all EU calls cost 52c/min to make+ 23c/min to receive, inc VAT. Send a text for 13c+ receive for free. FromO2. Which works ot at 44p to make, 23p to receive and 11p per text?

Anyone else heard anything?

O2's website has the current tariffs here http://www.o2international.co.uk/standardrate_and_data.aspx

Basically, for mobile data the costs for Western Europe (EU) are £2.94 per MB.
International Data Bundles are available at £10 for 10MB and £50 for 50MB

Data Abroad 10 gives you 10MB per billing month and Data Abroad 50 gives you 50MB per billing month of data abroad in any country.

A one month minimum term applies. To opt out of the service, you must contact O2 Customer Service at least 72 hours before your next monthly period begins or you will be charged for the service for the following month. You may opt-out of the service at any time but no-refunds will be given in respect of charges already applied.

PAYG Mobile Broadband costs £3 per MB in the EU and £6 per MB elsewhere. There appear to be no mobile broadband bundles or add-ons available for PAYG.

Are these current. I note the text price is 25p well above the eu rate of 11p that should be in from today. there is a lot of talk on the o2 ireland forum talk202 that data prices are droping and I note the o2 Ireland text prices are about 11p
