Just a little update on current network performance of Vodafone here in Chestfield!

I left BBC iPlayer playing radio for 9 hours, meanwhile a ping was running to the BBC. The radio was still going 9 hours later.

33241 packets transmitted, 33241 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 93.846/119.165/2077.754/33.739 ms

No VPN. Didn't drop a packet. Some latency spikes but a very respectable average of 119ms.

Thought I'd bump this old thread... as you can see, a year ago Vodafone boasted much more respectable latency! A whopping 259ms quicker (https://talk3g.co.uk/showthread.php?8306-Mobile-Broadband-Shootout-Vodafone-vs-Three&p=40025#post40025). It was low latency like this that attracted business customers like me to the network in the first place, so I sincerely hope that they're not asleep at the switch.
