Avec Radio and Virgin radio work. Theres a ton of others out there. Only works if you have GPRS enabled on your network account.

Or do you mean an actual application for the handset to listen to national and regional FM broadcasts?

...which would need an FM receiver, which there unfortunately is not one of in the Nokia 6680.

But cant you get V radio Ben or something like that

Yes, but that streams stations over 3G - it can't pick up FM transmissions. To pick up FM transmissions the handset needs an FM receiver, unfortunately.

Still, over-3G services will improve pretty rapidly now, especially since Orange broke the ice with the querky OTV. I can't wait to see the BBC's offering for mobile devices.

Not too much no, I can't remember exactly how much. You wouldn't want to listen to it for long though.

You have to buy vRadio if I remember, and there's not a great selection - I was hoping for BBC channels but apparently the BBC aren't co-operating. You can listen to virgin via the Virgin Radio Player of course, downloadable via their website. Also, now OTV is here I don't really use any of the radio aps.

Buy a DAB personal radio. It is neat, has lots of stations and does'nt eat into your bandwidth bundle!

DAB is indeed absolutely fantastic. It's a shame the coverage isn't quite there yet... but these things take time.

Still, a radio is yet another thing to carry. I'm sure it'll all get integrated into mobiles eventually, but I do like having the ability to stream content via my mobile as I always have it with me. There's a lot to be said for device convergence sometimes!

Indeed.....a hybrid solution seems by far the best bet....
