I am often asked what the settings are for various networks. This is usually found on web resources like the superb Filesaveas.uk (http://www.filesaveas.com/gprs.html) website, although the information can be a bit buried, it is all in there.

For those with Vodafone handsets, or who wish to use the Vodafone Mobile Internet on their handset (this is not their Mobile Broadband) the settings are on the web page by the following link --> http://help.vodafone.co.uk/system/selfservice.controller?CMD=VIEW_ARTICLE&ARTICLE_ID=1733&PARTITION_ID=1&CONFIGURATION=1000&CURRENT_CMD=BROWSE_TOPIC&SIDE_LINK_TOPIC_ID=1048&SIDE_LINK_SUB_TOPIC_ID=1162&SIDE_LINK_TOPIC_INDEX=null&SIDE_LINK_SUB_TOPIC_INDEX=null

I have not posted the site's actual text as there are further links on that web page that you may need to refer to.

Vodafone's official information on the various APN settings have been summarised quite nicely on their eForum here --> http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21071

I won't post the contents here as they are liable to change from time to time and be updated on Vodafone's eForum. So it is best to click the link for the latest details.

Please take a few moments to read through the forum post from their moderators.

Also, note well the difference between "WAP" and "internet" where the former is for Live! and the latter for general purpose Internet use. Each has its own attributes nicely summarised on the above link.
