For the last few days I have again been having problems with the iphone on O2. (Derby/Loughborough/Leicester areas).

The problem is that when the iphone goes to sleep, when "sliding" it back on again, very often I cannot establish a “working” data connection, regardless of 3G/Edge/GSM. The only way to get data to work again is to switch 3G off and on again or the iphone itself.

Having done a full "restore" through itunes my conclusion is that it is a network issue?

Anyone else got this problem?

Not from where I am - Seems to be stable, as stable to O2 can be.

Had a few 'Cannot activate cellular data network' in London yesterday but it's ok in Kent.
