ADVERTISEMENTNokia today began shipping its latest high-end 3G imaging smartphone, the 6680, which incorporates two digital cameras.

Originally showcased a month ago at the 3GSM World Congress in Cannes, the device boasts MMC storage, support for Nokia's XpressPrint system and a screen of up to 262,144 colours.

Using XpressPrint, which offers support for PictBridge, users can print pictures, emails or contacts directly from the 6680 using a range of compatible home or office printers or photo kiosks via USB, Bluetooth or by simply extracting the MMC card from the side of the phone.

The 6680 also includes a personal organiser, video streaming and internet browser, with a range of 3G-enabled features such as two-way video calls, video sharing and push email.

"The Nokia 6680 enables the full benefit of high-speed 3G networks to be enjoyed with a wide range of multimedia services, including video, email, music downloads and internet browsing," said Joe Coles, director of imaging product marketing at Nokia.

The 6680 will be available in markets across Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
