screen failure

both screens on my e616v are not showing anything at all. is there anything that can be done without taking it in to a shop or will it have to be sent away for repair? it is not under warranty so I'd rather try and sort the problem myself. Any suggestions welcome thank you.

doubt it 616s have a habit of going wrong- they are necs com on the best bet would be 2 sent it off to 3 but as its under warrenty its a bit of a prob ive sent 2 808s and a 606 for repair thyat have been out of warenty and they have sent me new ones with no charge...try it and see what they say
