I will post other settings as and when I find/use/discover them in the future.

For those who have had their LG U81xx handsets unlocked from H3 and now want to use them with MMO2 there are some customisations that you will have to make in the handset before you can use MMS and Browser (Triangle)facilities. Ordinarily you will find that SMS works fine. The following script should assist you in correctly setting up your handset.

These settings will be lost and have to be re-entered if you factory reset your LG U81xx handset.

NB: Before trying to use MMS you must get your O2 SIM activated for MMS - do this by sending the code "picon" (without the quotes) to shortcode 21400. They will turn on MMS within 48 hours.

The following settings are for PAYG SIMs on O2 only.

Menu - 9 - 5 This will bring you to "Access points".

Here you will need to press "Options" then "Add New".

The "connection title" will be "o2", move to next box,

The "Bearer" will be "GPRS" (move the curser to the right)

The "Username" will be "payandgo", move to next box.

The "Password" will be "password" (this will be hidden by little stars), Move to next box,

The "APN" will be payandgo.o2.co.uk

Once you are happy with these settings press ok.

This will save it to you phone.

Now go back to the main screen.

Now do the following......

Press Menu - 1 - 8 - 2 - 6 This brings you to "Multi.msg centre"

Here you need to press "Options" then "Add new",

The "Title" will be "o2", move to the next box,

The "MMSC URL" will be "mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002" , Then move to the next box,

The "MMS Proxy" will be "193.113.200.195", then move to the next box,

The "Connection mode" will be "UDP", If this does not work, try the "TCP" option. Move to the next box,

The "Access Point" will be "o2", ( this is what you set up earlier ).

Once your happy with all the info, press ok, this will then be saved to your phone.
