seems to be a clear out offer, android 2.1 thought there is an official froyo rom about, and a cyanogenmod 7 port.
samsung also release their kernel source at opensource.samsung.com if you want to build your own kernel etc
oh and the killer feature:
Capacitive touchscreen not resistive like the Pulse Mini
