Just saw this advertised on a newsgroup..... worth taking a note of if you call mobiles from a landline. Just 4p/min! Good value!

Good website - kewl rates :)

What is the difference between "United Kingdom mobile" and "United Kingdom [personal] [mobile] ? I can't figure it out.

Advise doing homework on alternative ways of calling first ... all calls are via an 0844 access number;
The calls are made via an 0844 access number - there is a small per minute charge (so beware, its not all cheap). "Typically the charge to use 0844 numbers is explained as so "Calls to 0844 numbers are charged at 5ppm at all times.

So, Greece is 1p per min on Dialwise (cor!) but you have to add 5p to that - total is 6p per min, which aint at all bad.

Fabulous rates to European mobiles at typically 13p + 5p [access charge].

There are still 2 types of mobile numbers in the UK. Personal numbers which are issued by 3rd parties for redirection (generally expensive) and network issued mobile numbers. Number porting has done away with the need for 'personal numbers' nowadays.

This service is obviously routing calls from outwith the UK, hense the international codes required. Its the only way this could possibly work with 3 charging more than 3 times as much as this for termination presently..... they and others must have different charges for connections orginating outside the UK.
