Red face settings

I have recently had my motorola v3x unlocked and debranded, now i cant access the net or send and recieve mms messages, this is because the settings have been altered in someway.

I now need to put the settings in manually which i dont know how to, does anybody know the settings or where i can get them, also a guide to put them in.

please please help

Hi Eric, welcome to Talk 3G!

A couple of questions, was the handset originally a 3 handset? It may be that some of the settings are still hidden inside the SW, Three have a knack of blocking out certain menu options leaving you unable to alter anything. Also, what network are you with now that you need the settings for?

G.

This thread should be helpful, it's for the N70 but it lists all the Three settings. https://talk3g.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2099

Of course, none of those settings will work while you're using it on Vodafone. For Vodafone settings see here: http://217.199.164.178/vodafone/

Ok, well if you haven't already give Three a call (333 if I remember on contract) and ask if they can send you all the settings you need for your V3x - it'd be by far the quickest and easiest way. Good luck!

No, unlocking and debranding is not illegal.

If you're happy to have 3's software put back on it then it should be fine to send it away.
