Unhappy SE Repairs & Hold Music...

...I've just sat on hold for 5 minutes listening to 'Don't you forget about me'. I thought that was a rather interesting song choice!

Anyway, I called up about having my W900i fixed after they managed to break the memory card return mechanism the last time I sent it away. I was told to send it to their FREEPOST address and make a note of my IMEI... if my phone were to get lost in the post then apparently they'd send me a new one?!

Anyway, they wont come and collect it, which is what I wanted, despite it being them who broke it in the first place. I hate ACR :\

Bizzare.

Can you send Freepost using RM Special Delivery? The key being to make sure it is insured by RM and tracked all the way to their doorstep!

I'd want to see that promise of theirs in writing before I believed it. Much rather I'd pay the £5 to use RMSD for peace of mind, and the ability to tell them that they do indeed have it on their premises 'cos you have the tracking info in hand.

Cynical? Moi?

Edit: Could have been worse. Could have been "Don't go breaking my heart"
