Default Can't send via Bluetooth

As title says, I cannot send via Bluetooth but can receive via Bluetooth.
When the person who sent me a video via Bluetooth stood 2 feet away from me with his Bluetooth turned on my handset said looking for devices 0 found, try again later.
Every time I try to send a video clip it says the same thing.

Please help !

Hello, welcome to Talk3G!

Can you discover other devices when you're pairing for a bluetooth headset for example, or sending other types of files?

Is the recipient handset definitely discoverable and not hidden?

The receipients mobile is definately set to 'Show to all'.
When I try to find other mobiles/devices, I press looking for devices, it then says 'Try again later'.
I've tried this now several times but still the same answer.

That's great news. Do you have a link to what they told you to download?

Don't wanna sound like an 4RSE but you do know how to send stuff with Bluetooth from Moto v3x don't you?

You select the, say, video clip, select Options, Manage, then Copy. Then select Bluetooth from there....

It's a different way than most manufacturers.....
