Since the bluetooth headset and phone is a passive connection i think it will work, possibly not if you are on the phone at the time. With the right software you can have multiple bluetooth connections, but with the standard BT software im not 100% sure if it will work, but theoretically it should. Go and try it

It'll depend on the COM ports created for the PC suite. I think it's usually COM40 and 41. If the handset has these assigned to the headset also you won't be able to have a multiple connection. On my laptop I can't have a BT data connection running and then transfer a file to the handset at the same time. But you never know, the ports might be different for headset profile connections. Let us all know!
