Question Unlocking N70 with 3 (three) Network

Hi folks ,


I am looking for a way or a program to unlock My new Nokia N70 from Three network.

can anyone guide me please ?

AFAIK the N70 is, like the 6680, protected by the BB5 algorithms which have not yet been broken by the Unlocker community. The only recourse you have at the moment is to refer to 3 and expect to be charged a ridiculously high figure to have the handset unlocked from their network.

That may all change, but the rumours of a BB5 Unlock solution have stubbornly remained just that. Only rumours and with no substance.

Indeed, an unlock code from 3 will cost you in excess of £100 if I remember correctly.

Last I heard the charge was £115.00 to unlock an N70 by 3.

Pretty steep..... maybe best to dispose of it on e-bay (as a locked handset) and get an alternative on PAYG with the proceeds and the £115 that you would have paid 3.
