Default 6680 on vodafone

I received my new handset last week yet i still cannot connect to the network.

I have changed my number over from o2 and my o2 sim is still working.

Went to vodfone shop and the guy said they are having issues and the phone is not up and running yet is this the case?

Cheers

Marky

It shouldn't be anything to do with the handset Marky, do you have another SIM you can put in it o make sure everything's ok? By the sounds of things if your O2 number is still working they haven't completed the port of your number correctly. Either it's not been done full stop, or they've managed to muck it up completely. How long have you been waiting for the number to be ported? If I were you I'd be onto Vodafone CS and wouldn't be getting off the phone until they have resolved your issues, remind them that it's only in their interest to move you over to their network at the moment you're stillpaying O2 for their services.

No probs connecting 6680 to Voda here. 3G coverage - well, that's another matter.
