Default Talk3G Top 10 Web Browsers

The top 10 web browsers seen on Talk3G.co.uk in the last 30 days:

    1. Internet Explorer 42.71%
    2. Firefox 33.46%
    3. Safari 14.71%
    4. Chrome 5.44%
    5. Opera 1.59%
    6. Mozilla 0.63%
    7. Opera Mini 0.59%
    8. Playstation 3 0.33%
    9. Playstation Portable 0.12%
    10. NetFront 0.07%

IE7 and Firefox 3.0.11 specifically rule the roost. Safari's strong showing will have a lot to do with 13.25% of Talk3G visits being from Mac OS X.

If only the web-wide stats looked like the above!

I think IE is on the slippery slope. With Windows 7 not coming with a browser, we may see enterprise switch away all together (or am I dreaming?). I use IE and firefox at work, but FF is the default.

Has Internet Explorer 8 not even got close to the top ten?

Even though I love Chrome I'm surprised it has come out on top.
Poor IE! Visitors to this site are probably more sophisticated than the average user, but it just shows how competitive the browser market still is.

How does iOS stack up against Android? I imagine it is a big chunk of that 16% Safari share.

I'm surprised at the IE decline I must say. Chrome really is doing incredibly well, bravo Google for that one. I myself recommend it to people, despite using Safari myself for the iNtegration

    Interesting stats.

Looks like the Talk3G visitors are not typical Internet users!

Chrome does not have a massive penetration yet it has been used most on visits here?

The explanation must be that we are a relatively small community and a few regulars must prefer browsers like chrome!

These figures are only really useful when compared with those posted at the beginning of the thread.

They're based on some 39,000 unique visitors (primarily UK) over the past 30 days.
