Hello Mark, welcome to Talk3G!

There's a couple of things you could do. Probably the easiest, and least hassle for yourself is get to either; a Three store, a CPW or The Link, somewhere that may have a e616 charger sitting about. (A Three point may be the best option, you may find they'll give you a new charger if it's broken) Ask if you can try it to make sure your charger is working. If you can get a chance to try a different battery that's probably a good thing also. What are the battery contacts like in the one you have currently? Are they making a connection with the handset ok?

As far as a SIM is concerned, I'll just presume the handset is locked to Three. Get yourself onto eBay and purchase one, they're about £6 or so, find examples here.

Once you've got your charging issues sorted and a SIM you'll be on the road to a new 3G lifesyle.

Let us know how you get on.

G.
