    1. Yes, leave your Orange SIM in - it really doesn't matter
    2. The ROM posted by MoDaCo suggests that it is a T-Mobile one, but there is no evidence of T-Mobile anywhere! In due course I would expect a true Generic ROM to be available from HTC. But this one is fine. A lot of people have used it, according to posts.

    The OTA update has killed the Wifi on my Desire. Seems to be a common problem to the unbranded phones.
