    From the keynote...

    Qt being made available on S40. "Qt will bring apps to the next billion".

    The images above are of the N9, which is made from a single piece of polycarbonate that's coloured throughout (plus it's also very good for radio reception - miaow!) It will be coming in three colours - black, cyan, purple/pink/magenta (whatever you want to call the girly colour).

    Running "MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan". SDK made available immediately after the keynote.

    N9 Specs...
    • Display - 3.9" AMOLED Clear-Black display with curved glass, 16M colors, 854 x 480 pixels screen resolution
    • Memory - 16GB/64GB, 1GB RAM
    • CPU - 1GHz OMAP3630 (Cortex-A8) with PowerVR SGX530
    • Connectivity - A-GPS, Compass, WLAN 802.11 abgn, micro USB, BT 2.1, NFC
    • Audio - MP3 player, 3.5 mm audio jack, Supported codecs: mp3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, FLAC.
    • Video - Video recording and playback up to 720P, H.263, H.264, MPEG-4, WMV 9, Matroska
    • Camera - 8 Megapixel AF camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual-LED flash, wide-angle lens
    • NFC enabled, also NFC-enabled surround speakers will be made available (touch to sync etc.)

    • Gorilla Glass, capacitive touchscreen
    • Battery lifetime is approximately double that of the N900: 7 hours vs. 4.3 hours 3G Talk, 450 hours vs. 250 hours 3G Standby. Take with a pinch of salt.

    • Webkit2 browser with HTML5, CSS 3, XHTML support

    • Support for viewing documents in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, PDF and Open Document Formats
    • Online calendar synchronisation with CalDAV
    • Chat instant messaging support: Facebook, Skype, Gtalk, and services using SIP
    • Unified MMS/SMS editor
    • Push email
    • Email client can combine multiple accounts into one easy-to manage inbox
    • Unified notifications for Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds in the Events view
    • Social networking profiles and status updates merged into phone contacts
    • Social networking events visible in phone calendar
