Default ZTE Blade gets an official 2.3.5 firmware upgrade

    http://wwwen.zte.com.cn/endata/mobil...2559206355.zip

it's an image.bin, you extract the zip, transfer the /image folder to your sd card and turn the blade on using power button, volume up and menu button held to flash.

it's being called gen3, and if you flash this cm7 no longer works.

to upgrade a gen1 orange san francisco, you would first have to flash:

so you would be gen2, and then use the image.bin

I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with ZTE. There are plenty of handsets newer than this that won't be running 2.3.5 let alone have officially supported firmware.
I'm not sure I would give up CM7.1 for this though, but it's a welcome release.
