Typically, Three are very difficult to negotiate with for unlock codes if you have not bought the handset from them yourself. For example, if you've bought a handset via eBay or from a friend. It makes no sense, but if you're not their original customer they don't seem to want to know.

That leaves you with not much in the way of choice other than to consider using eBay to find someone who will sell you an unlock code or has an unlock service that you could use.
