Everything Everywhere applies to refarm 1800Mhz for LTE
EE have applied to ofcom to have their 1800Mhz spectrum refarmed for 4G useage.
Perhaps the UK LTE rollout wont be as delayed as first thought?
If Ofcom approves this (and I don't see why they wouldn't) then I could see EE potentially shunning the 4G auctions completely and going with a full 1800Mhz rollout.
Although I would expect they might have some trouble sourcing phones that will run on 1800Mhz LTE - I don't think any other country will be using this frequency for LTE, will they?
