The giffgaff is definitely much better pricing, on the O2 network. Tonight, ironically, I am sitting here, some 200m from the O2 3G mast, with the Android SGS2 flipping between 3G and EDGE. This is the quality of service that I have been receiving from O2 pretty much all of my life in using their service since 3G days (2003).

That said, I would still recommend giffgaff for those who want a good value budget PAYG that is outstandingly suitable for smartphones
